簡介：《新聞周刊》每兩年評選一次全美國最好的高中, 標準是學生選修Advanced Placement (AP)和International Baccalaureate (IB)的平均數量.他們只評選公開招生的中學, 所以最有名的幾所美國高中,如麻州的Phillips Academy高中(畢業生SAT平均分在2100左右!) ,康州的The Taft SchoolPhillips Academy(進牛校如家常便飯)不在其列。很多私立學校也沒被列入, 因為它們不肯透露考試分數。最后無論具體排名多少, 這100所美國高中都屬于全美國top 4%。
